Introduction

By renting a dress with Envious, you are entering into a legal agreement and bound by these terms and conditions.

We recommend you review these before renting.

We reserve the right to change the terms of this agreement in the future and any changes will apply.

Rental Policy

The rental period means the agreed weekend or midweek hire that the client has booked the dress for.

The moment the dress is handed over to the client it is the client's responsibility to protect this garment until its return. 

Clients must provide a photo of the postal lodgement.

The Envious rental period starts from when the third party has collected the item or the Envious team has shipped your item. 

We aim to deliver your dress the day before your event or earlier where possible.

We offer express registered An Post delivery and can provide you with a tracking number, 

We require the dress to be shipped back to us in its original packaging where possible or the equivalent. 

If you have requested return postage when booking, you will be provided with a pre-paid AnPost label in the package. 

Please ensure you return your dress on day 6 of rental period - This enables us to have enough time to get it dry-cleaned for our next client.

If your return date falls on a Saturday / Sunday or bank holiday you may post the item on the next working day.

There is a charge of €20/day late fee if unreturned in time. We do have the right to contact you if we need the dress urgently for our next client.

If the client has yet to return the dress after 10 days, Envious will consider the rental item as non-returned and will charge the client's card 150% of the recommended retail value of the dress.

The rental fee will not be subtracted.

Our dress hire prices include the dry-cleaning fee. 

We dry clean prior to hiring and when returned. 

Clients should not attempt to clean any dress or stains under any circumstances.

If the dress is returned heavily stained, we reserve the right to charge an extra 20€ for deep cleaning for the next client.

If the dress is damaged beyond repair we require full retail value of the dress.

Refund Policy

Envious may cancel your order where the shipping address was not confirmed -  please ensure the full address and mobile number are confirmed when booking your dress.

Store credit will be applied if we can not obtain contact from the client and details are unconfirmed.

If an item does become unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be contacted immediately with an alternative or be offered a full refund. you will receive a full refund in cases where we cancel your order.

If you contact us once your item is shipped, your rental period has started and we can no longer issue a cancellation of your order.

Envious Shipping Policy

Our standard delivery is express registered An Post next-day postage.

We always aim to deliver the dress at least the day before your event or earlier if possible.

It is the client's responsibility to confirm we have the correct address and mobile number prior to delivery. Eircode and a mobile number are vital on all orders. We don’t want you to miss your dress. 

There will be a pre-paid postage label in your box to return your dress to your local An Post on day 6 of your dress rental.

If you lose this pre-paid label, you be required to pay for registered An Post delivery to our Studio.

If this occurs please let us know and forward us the tracking number.

Collection Policy

The customer must collect the dress from our studio located in Drumconrath, Co.Meath.

 Please contact us to book your collection date and time.

Collection and try-ons are by appointment only.

Please contact us to arrange a return drop-off.

Incorrect or Faulty

If you receive your parcel and find that you have been sent the incorrect item please let us know immediately. If there is enough time we will do our utmost to get a replacement for you.

If you find the item is correct but has issues ie stains or damage, please let us know the day of delivery and prior to wearing the item.

If you do not let us know within this timeframe, we reserve the right to refuse a refund as it would not be clear if it was damaged post-arrival.

If you still wish to wear the item after reporting an issue we may offer a discretionary discount. More importantly, you won't be charged damage fees if you notify us on the day of delivery.

Limitation of Liability

By accepting the rental agreement you agree that Envious will not be liable for any loss damage, costs, or expenses of an indirect or consequential nature incurred or suffered by you as a result of:

  • Cancellation of a rental booking
  • Late delivery of a rental item due to third-party
  • No delivery of a rental item by a third party

Changes to the rental agreement

Envious reserves the right to change the rental agreement terms at any time, so it is important that you review and accept them each time you place an order.
